- 9/21/09: Jake is shooting the Snow Patrol concert at The Beacon Theatre on 9/22! He was invited to shoot on a press pass by his friend and associate Nell Alk who will be covering the concert for various periodicals. Be sure to watch for pictures posted from the concert!
- 9/18/09: 'Misery and Good Fortune' had great houses and brief but wonderful run. Congrats to everyone involved and thanks to all who attended.
- 9/12/09: 'Misery and Good Fortune' opens on 9/14! Eve Hartmann-Crep directs Drew Pisarra's short play about four people and one bed. Don't worry what happens hardly constitutes an orgy. These four are seeking a deeper connection. The play stars Maya Erskine, Jake Paque, Jessy Hodges, and Kristin Wheeler. 'Misery and Good Fortune' performs: Monday, September 14th at 7pm and Tuesday, September 15th at 7pm at HERE Arts Center, 145 6th Avenue (Enter on Dominick, 1 block south of Spring). Tickets: $15. - 9/2/09: Jake has been cast in a play performing at the HERE space in NYC. It is titled 'Misery and Good Fortune,' written by Drew Pisarra, directed by Eve Hartman-Crep. More info to follow!
- 9/1/09: 'On Tap' is officially ON TAP! You can check out the new podcast produced by Jake in the Podcast section. In its premiere episode Jake takes on guest Jeremy Larson as they cover topics from sports to music to fears about cellphones.

- 8/14/09: 'The McCarthy Account' opened! We had an amazing opening for a nearly sold out house. Thanks to all who attended and congrats to the cast and crew of 'The McCarthy Account.' For more info visit: McCarthy Account Info.
- 8/14/09: Jake shot a scene for a dramatization of the Hudson plane landing for NTVIC. The filming was done at an airport in New Jersey. The scenes involved shots on and in a helicopter. It was a great shoot and Jake got to fly in a helicopter! Stills will be posted soon. As soon as the film airs we'll post clips.

- 7/26/09: 'Torrents' by Robert Attenweiler performed at PS 122 today. The cast was awesome and reading went very well. Kudos to Robert, Margarett Perry, Adam, James, Eva, Becky and everyone else involved in the reading.
- 7/24/09: Jake was on location today for 'Life of Chanel' filming. The shoot was at an incredible, bizarre loft in LIC. The loft was clearly designed for cinema; it had several large, stylized rooms and an enormous storage area for set dressing items. In the shoot, Jake played Albert Chanel, Coco Chanel's father. In the scene Albert leaves a young Coco Chanel (played by Anise Falco) at an orphanage while he heads to America in hopes of making enough money to provide for his family and eventually return for Coco.
- 7/9/09: Jake was cast in a short film about Coco Chanel called 'Life of Chanel.' In the film he plays Coco's father in a flashback. He looks forward to getting on set and meeting the cast and crew.
- 7/7/09: Jake will be performing in a staged reading of 'Torrents' by Robert Attenweiler for the Undergroundzero Festival at Performance Space 122. In the reading Jake will play the role of Reagan Waltrip. 'Torrents' is directed by Margarett Perry. - 7/6/09: Jake has also accepted a role in Wind Up Productions 'The McCarthy Account.' In 'The McCarthy Account' Jake plays Francis Addison, an office executive cut from the cloth of heroes who also happens to be a bit of a romantic. The show performs August 14th and 15th at The Producer's Club in Midtown Manhattan. More details to follow!
- 7/1/09: Jake has accepted a role in Wide Eyed Productions 'Jack and the Soy Bean Stalk.' 'Jack' is a new musical going up in this years NYC Fringe Festival. Stay tuned for details.
- 6/24/09: 'User 927' wins Reverie Productions' 2009 Next Generation Playwriting Contest! Congratulations to Katherine Clark Gray, David Hilder and everyone who contributed to the staged reading. Hopefully this accolade will help 'User 927' land a full-scale production in the near future.

- 6/2/09: Jake will be performing the roles of Seeker and Ryan in the staged reading of Katherine Clark Gray's 'User 927' directed by David Hilder. 'User 927' performs Wednesday, June 10th at 7 pm at LAByrinth Theater Co.'s LABspace, 307 West 38th St. (just west of 8th Ave), fl. 16. - 5/14/09: Jake is back from Ithaca, having closed 'Archaeology' at The Kitchen Theatre. Working at The Kitchen was an absolute treat. The cast, crew, production team and community were all fabulous and provided a fantastic home away from home. Major thanks to the following people: Abby Davis, Abby Smith, Gina Grosso, Rob Fancher, Ben Truppin-Brown, Norm Johnson, Charlie Forray, Ace Heckathorn, Kristin Wheeler, Margarett Perry, Megan Pugh, Lesley Greene, Stephen Nunley and Rachel Lampert. Also, thanks to everyone else in Ithaca that supported the show and made the time there memorable.
- 2/23/09: The word is out! Jake is headed to The Kitchen Theatre in Ithaca, New York to play the role of Astin in the WORLD PREMIERE of Rachel Axler's play 'Archaeology.' - 2/9/09: Jake just returned from UPTAs in Memphis, TN. He would like to thank all of the companies that attended and he looks forward to seeing you again next year.
- 1/26/09: Jake can be seen this weekend in a reading of 'The Taster' by Genevieve Billette. In this reading he will be playing the lead role of Nils. - 1/12/09: Wide Eyed Productions newest work 'The Spin Cycle,' an evening of one-acts written by WE's Jerrod Bogard, opens January 22 and runs through February 7 at the Players' Theatre Loft located at 115 MacDougal St. Check it out! This star-studded cast features Jake's fellow company memebers; Trevor Dallier, Melissa Johnson, Lauren Bahlman, Anthony Reimer, Ben Newman, Andrew Harriss, Liz White, Lucy McRae and Wide Eye'd artistic director herself, Kristin Hoffmann.
- 12/30/08: Even more new videos have been added to the 'Vids' section. A new compilation of footage from three different Wide Eyed Productions can now be viewed on this site and YouTube! This footage includes clips of Jake as Hippolytus from this fall's production of 'Phedre.'

- 12/8/08: Today Jake played Castillo in a reading of Arthur Kopit's new draft of 'Discovery of America.' John Clinton Eisner, producing director of The Lark was in attendance. Also at the reading was Jake's good friend Matt Boston who is currently in a highly praised run of 'The Seafarer' in New Jersey.
- 12/2/08: Last night Jake read at The Lark for Playwright's Workshop. He got to hang with the usual suspects; David Ives, David Hwang, Art Kopit, Christian Conn, Matt Boston and many others. Sadly, Brian Dykstra was absent. He is in Boston putting up "The Seagull." Jake had a blast and is looking forward to the next session on January 5th.
- 12/1/08: Jake would like to congratulate Trevor Dallier and Melissa Johnson on getting cast in Wide Eyed Productions' One-Act Series! Also, new to the website is the "Resume" section. Check it out and see what Jake's been working on.
- 11/24/08: 'Phedre' officially closed! Thanks to all who attended. 'Phedre' was an amazing experience and Jake was honored to work with such talented artists as; Kym Smith, Vanessa Gibens, Ali Gilbertson, Genevieve Gearhart, Colin McFadden, Cindy Kawasaki, Brian Kaufman, Lucy McRae and Malachy Orozco. - 9/2/08: Jake did a reading of a new play by Suzanne Bradbeer. Reading along with him were such greats as Brian Dykstra, Carolyn Baeumler Bost, Mary Bacon, and Will! The reading was directed by Daniella Topol. The play was fantastic and it was great to see old friends Brian and Daniella, and meet new ones Suzanne, Mary, Carolyn and Will.
- 8/28/08: 'Midsummer' is entering tech. Last night Jake and Omar De Leo did a brief photo shoot for the production.

- 8/18/08: Break Bar was a riotous time. Thanks to all who joined in the festivities. Sunday was spent in Central Park working on lines and throwing the Frisbee.
- 8/14/08: Jake will be hanging out at Break Bar and Billiards in Queens this Saturday the 16th. Feel free to join him and his friend as they let the good times roll.
- 8/10/08: Jake thoroughly enjoyed 'AFD.' He is currently in the thick of 'Midsummer' rehearsals.
- 8/5/08: This weekend Jake is going to catch 'Appetite for Destruction' at the Sanford Meisner Theatre. A show featuring some VO and sound editing work done by Jake. 'AFD' stars Jake's long time friend and nemesis Kurt Rodeghiero.
- 8/1/08: Jake is back in the city and is entering rehearsal for 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' where he will be playing the infamous role of Puck. 'MSND' opens 9/6 and is being produced by Queens Garden Stage.

- 5/20/08: Jake performed in a staged reading of "Collision Course." A new play by James Price, directed by Kaitlin Hopkins. In "Collision Course" Jake plays Mark, an indie rockstar who becomes paralyzed after being run over by the man whom his girlfriend is cheating on him with. Along with Jake, the show stars; Anne Letscher, Matt Boston and E. Katherine Kerr. At the performance many Larkees were in attendance as well as Chris Durang.
